GloBowl Entry is a set of all-inclusive bowls to eat in, or on the go. All bowls are Top 9 Allergen Free, Plant-Based, and specifically curated by an agricultural/nutritional scientist to present complete nutritional profiles within each bowl. The recipes take inspiration from longevity-based dietary principles of globally demarcated Blue Zones, and flavors reflect culinary experiences of our personal global travels. All ingredients are locally sourced, with the majority of shelf-stable ingredients coming from upstate's very own Wegmans markets, supplemented by only produce from local farms.

Who We Are
Anika Amidon and Dr. Anita Amidon are a mother and daughter with combined food allergies to dairy, soy, gluten, and peanuts/tree nuts. Dr. Anita Amidon is a Board-Certified OB/GYN, and Anika is an agricultural scientist with a B.A. in Environmental Biology from NYU, and research Masters in Crop Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Together, they are passionate about bringing food that not only tastes good, but actively supports human biology and a global ecology, to their community.
What's In the Bowl?
The flavor profiles of these bowls are inspired by our family’s travels over the past decade. All Bowls are plant-Based, with an emphasis on real food Ingredients, in combinations that form complete nutritional profiles to provide an abundance of energy that lasts. All bowls are free from milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, and crustacean/shellfish, ensuring that our bowls can be consumed by all. The bowls are crafted to be shelf-stable for up to 24h, fresh when refrigerated for up to 3 days, and able to be enjoyed cold or microwaved. To-Go Bowls themselves are made 100% of sugarcane Fibers, making them 100% compostable and tree-free, as well as microwave and freezer safe. They are unbleached and certified PFAS safe.
Why Us?
Since having been diagnosed with a host of varying allergies 15 years ago, our family of four tends to eat top eight allergen free as a household. After decades of eating like this, we’ve watched the food-allergy landscape change greatly, But arena of life that still presents a challenge Is the world of travel, and eating on the Go. It is notoriously difficult to accommodate all of our allergies or restrictions at the same time — either the gf option has milk, the vegan option has soy and/or gluten, nuts are in the dairy-free dish, and the list goes on… We have figured out our snack hacks, but GloBowl was borne out of the idea that real food on the go shouldn’t be a luxury just afforded to some, but a right for all.
Why Now?
After years of study as an agricultural scientist (whose primary passion outside of science and food is travel), I have seen a statistical exponential growth in the body of consumers with allergenic responses to most staple food ingredients, largely as a by-product of decreased environmental and agricultural regulation. At the same time, the world is smaller than ever, and travel for leisure is at an all time high. If there was ever a time to create an inclusive and nutritious meal option on the go, it is NOW!

is to eliminate the matrix! Free of all top 9 allergens, there is no more wondering which allergy may be able to be accommodated. Gone is having to read every last ingredient to ensure that there is no hidden allergen in your meal. GloBowl Entry’s bowls are for all to enjoy, and taste so good that our free-from-everything bowl will leave you wanting for nothing… but more!
